The Content Management Specialist is responsible for the design and creation of internal knowledge articles and product guides available on Sage People knowledge base utilized by the global Customers for Life (CFL) team. The content team works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Product Owners across Sage People to harness the best practices of configuring and deploying Sage People products and create technical and business knowledge articles and instructions that serve as the reference guides for the entire Sage People delivery teams and partners eco-system. The team also reviews, assesses, and updates existing content to maintain their relevance and currency with new product releases and best practices.
As a Content Management Specialist, you will ensure that Sage People delivers technically accurate, well-written, simple, and audience-centric articles that include feedback loops with customers, partners, and the Customer for Life teams. You will also collaborate with other teams to unify Sage People efforts toward a centralized knowledge management and content development strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and deliver allocated topics aligned with the agreed standards and style guides and process the content through the agreed approval cycle from drafting to publishing
• Collaborate with the Technical Author within the team to identify style and versioning requirements for the different publishing points and formats i.e., community hub, internal portal, and standalone pdfs
• Participate in the creation, prioritization, and delivery of the annual content road map based on the product roadmap and aligned with the CFL teams and partners’ feedback
• Liaise with other content and knowledge management groups within Sage People to align learning efforts for all relevant audiences and content creation to the overall knowledge management strategy for Sage People
What We Need For You To Have:
• 2 years of technical authoring experience
• Proven understanding of HR/People processes and systems (HRIS)
• Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and supporting content operations for product admins and implementers
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of content creations life cycle and best practices
• Experience in data collection and evaluation to drive content performance
• Excellent communicator with superior stakeholder management who can build strong relationships and influence SMEs
• Ability to prioritize workload and mobilize resources in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Influencing skills particularly outside of direct reporting lines.
What We Would Like for You To Have:
• 5 years of technical authors collaboration experience
• Knowledge of content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content in rich format HTML & MadCap
• Good knowledge of the Sage People product
• Salesforce experience
