Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is now hiring: Executive Assistant to Deputy Director for Communications (23574 hits)


The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Deputy Director for Marketing & Communications to help facilitate the museum’s marketing and communications plans. The assistant ensures that all projects and relationships with both internal and external constituents receive timely response. In addition, the assistant will provide project management support and coordination; monitor and track budget submissions and spending and manage Deputy Director’s expenses; schedule and maintain director’s calendar; help develop team, Board and Trustee meeting presentations; provide research assistance; and manage domestic and international travel. This position requires the ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision and a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, and professionalism.
